The Colour Alchemy Lab is thoughtfully designed to offer a brief deep dive into the magikal world of plant-based colour & earth pigments through processes of preparation, mono-printing & mark making. 
The workshops (10 am - 3 pm) are based at my barn studio in North Lancashire & are carefully curated to encourage sharing & collaboration between a maximum of four artists per session
Through experimental investigations we explore the secret language of (sensitively) foraged wild plants, practice divinatory techniques devised by surrealist Ithell Colquhoun, perform a foraged tea ritual, initiate, observe & document the materiality of colour, grind & mull found pigments & elicite wild elemental chemical reactions.
